my legend of zelda phantom hourglass review part one

The game starts with a “storytime”. It tells the story of the Windwaker with an artsy cardboard style. I like this art style of the “story time” more than the one in Windwaker after that, Tetra (cool pirate Zelda) starts getting angry about everybody calling her Zelda. Then Niko starts getting scared by the fact that the Ghost Ship sails these waters. Tetra is completely sure there is NO GHOST SHIP. Fog rolls up and a giant creepy ship with gold skulls on it sails right up next to tetras ship. Tetra thinks there is a bunch of treasure, so being “Tetra” she decides to straight-up jump onto the Ghost Ship. This is why this whole game happened then Link hears Tetra scream and tries to jump onto the Ghost Ship. Link misses and falls right into the ocean. (What a hero) link ends up on a shore of an island, a fairy (I swear, if I hear, hey, and listen) named Celia wakes you up and leads you to her grandpa, Oshus. You tell him you are looking for the ghost ship, he says just give up, it doesn’t matter. But he also says the bridge to the town is broken (how convenient) and the other path is filled with monsters. So you go steal his sword. You go through the path and get to the town. The only person who has a boat is this, “famous” Linebeck. This is my favorite Zelda character. He is in the temple of the ocean king, a haunted death filled place. So you go to save him since when you find him he has a broken leg. When you save him you find out, he’s really stubborn and rude.

He shakes you and gives you a map. You head off to his ship, but Oshus stops you(uuuuuhhhhhh) and shows you a special place on the map, so you head there. You get to learn how to control the boat, but it's not as free-roaming as WindWaker. (aww man) and the island is a giant volcano. (honestly, I have no idea why Gorons don’t live on this island)
